How escrow works
JobLox escrow protects both sides on one-off Roblox gigs — UI, scripting, modeling, and more.
1. Studio proposes a gig
Browse the developer directory and send a contract with scope and price.
2. Developer accepts
Developers must connect Stripe payouts before accepting. The contract moves to awaiting funding.
3. Studio funds escrow
Payment is collected via Stripe Checkout and held on the JobLox platform account — not sent to the developer yet.
4. Work happens
The studio starts work; the developer delivers. Communication happens off-platform (Discord, etc.) for now.
5. Release payment
After the developer marks delivered, the studio reviews and releases payment. Stripe transfers funds to the developer's Connect account.
Disputes: either party can flag a contract. Contact support@joblox.app for manual review during beta.
